Stirring the pot…

by Dorothea

In my Normandy kitchen, on the big French stove, my favorite pots do the work for me! Just the odd stir and “et voila!”. And, yes that is just my apron billowing, not my tummy, thank you very much!

Recipes will follow in due course, but it all starts with the right choice of pots and dishes.

Hands down the Rolls Royce of cookware is manufactured in a little medieval town on the way to the Mont Saint Michel in Normandy called Villedieu-les-Poeles, with an 800 year heritage of copper manufacturing.

In 1830 Mr. Ernest Mauviel established the Mauviel manufacturing company. My favorite pots and oven dishes are copper-clad stainless steel and go straight from stove to table!
